All briefs have been filed, which means that the ball is now in SCOTUS's park. SCOTUS can respond at any time (and probably will in the next 1-2 days). The next step, however, is NOT a ruling. It is a grant or denial of certiorari -- i.e. SCOTUS will either accept the case or deny it.

If they accept the case, then everyone will present their arguments to the court (like in a trial).

If they deny it, then it's GG. There's no higher court to appeal to.

Someone posted on here that they are deciding Monday at 10am. Unconfirmed so take it with a grain of salt.
