Are they though? 20+ years ago maybe. Now "hecho en chine". I went to mountain hardware then to arc'teryx... Don't know where to find us outdoor xlothing
Wouldn't be surprised. China used to be bigger in textiles until recently. Bangladesh is one of the poorest states in the world so they are ripe for textiles.
Yep, I hear you. It's just so readily available in all of the stores here so admittedly to pick up for the family while out shopping. Anyways, their quality isn't amazing by any means, so no big loss.
Probably are made in China, Columbia clothes are poor quality. This is just the nail in the coffin for me. I won’t buy Columbia now how matter how cheap the clearance price is.
Why does every company have to go left? I like columbia clothes. They have good flannel shirts at Cabela's. Damn disappointing I won't be buying any more and they honestly couldn't care any less that I stop.
I guess being a SJW and having TDS means you have a skewed reality. These people need to be constantly reminded how moral they are. It's everywhere. I was looking at my dentist's office on Google Maps and it was labelled as being "LGBT Friendly." Why is that label even a thing? How does being a homosexual affect your use of dental services?
Quite unfortunate. I have one parka and two rain jackets from Columbia. Solid value brand with its manufacturing in Vietnam so at least you get to avoid China. I was just thinking of ordering a pair of gloves from them. I guess I'll look elsewhere if this is what Columbia wants to promote.
On a sidenote, where can I go for American-made winter clothing? Canada Goose might be the best option, but I don't know if they are also promoting this kind of crap. There's Schott for leather jackets and wool coats, but what about parkas?
Columbia is local to Oregon so we wear and purchase quite a bit from them. Thanks for sharing this -- canceled.

Made in Vietnam to be correct. Better than China since they are just a little state with no evil plans for world domination.
Pretty sure I have some old stuff from China and bangladesh

Well my favorite hiking shirt was a Columbia. Guess I'll be shopping around.
They are cucked. They began sponsoring Juicy Smolleya after the entire FBI incident.
wtf
Somebody should remind him that Democrats will close down those parks...
Says the company with a swastika in its logo 😂
Bet their shitty clothes are made in China.

Made in Vietnam, according to my parka tag.
wow so condescending
I cant remember the last time i wore something from this company... hmmm possibly 20 years ago... When i was in elementary school.

I both love and hate this timeline
Not surprised that a company with a hidden swastika in it's logo would act like facists.
Tim is trying to impress his wife's boyfriend.
Sigh. Already boycotting.
We should pressure them to donate hiking boots to all the house candidates that lost...
How can CEO's of major companies be so Stupid. They're responsible to shareholders and customers yet they revert to their personal ignorance.

Looks like Columbia will be added to the list.
Just went to their website and provided some "feedback"
Don’t know why companies commit suicide like this. The echo chamber is so loud for them.
Columbia, the new Nike.
Their clothes are ugly.
Truth.
done and done.
I can't wrap my ahead around why these companies would go out of their way to alienate 1/2 their customers.
And like that, like Nike and Gillette, they lose millions/billions.

Oh Lord, I hope not.
Hope it collapses. It can be the official sponsor of ANTIFAGS
North Face is the same way, just FYI.
and patagonia too
Well, that's disappointing.
I'm making a list, checking it twice, I'm gonna find where to spend my money and where not to.
I wish someone would make a list of companies to avoid. Our voices are heard every day by voting with our dollar.
You know, I was wondering the other day why when I wear my columbia jacket why I felt so gay. This explains everything.
And Patagonia, like a long time ago
Hmm. Just got a used Columbia vest, I guess I'll cover the logo with a patch: https://www.google.com/search?q=pepe+frog+patch&tbm=isch

There's no evidence of election fraud. Hurr, durr.
LOL, Biden will sell our national parks to China for strip mining.
Smooth brain Tim thinks alienating half his customers is good business. Tim is bad at business.
