Nice!! My son and I (he’s 13) went in like 5 stores today and never wore a mask. I told him it’s not against the law. If they ask us to put one on or leave then we will decide if it’s worth putting one on. Otherwise, no. If you can deal with the looks then you also get a lot of smiles. You know why? Because people can see your face, and you can smile at them!!! People like being smiled at! It makes them happy. Except the crazies who are afraid of you killing them with your nice smile.
My girl was quarantined as a "close contact" (she had been in the same classroom with a kid that tested positive but had no symptoms)... We complied for 7 days and then got on a plane.
The letter from the health dept. had the wrong date on it, but according to that we were cleared. I wasn't going to tell them that they screwed up.
The fact that I was even nervous about it pissed me off... Who are they to tell me what I can do with my kid - all because she was in a classroom with a kid that didn't even have symptoms? Fuck that.
