Technically, latches in regards to personal liability. Latches is the legal term for "you waited too long". It is not a law but a tool that the court can use to judge how a case should be handled. We do have statue of limitations, which is a written law, but that does not always apply.

This guy is no longer worried about who wins the election. He's now concerned about his own freedom. One the bright side, now I can see that at least he cares about someone's freedom.

In regards to whether ballots count in this election, latches should not apply because of the temporal availability of sufficient evidence.
