I’m looking to buy a Bible because i’ve never read it cover to cover. I was raised in the faith, though i went astray for a long time; and it feels like something I absolutely need to do.

Christian pedes: any advice on what version of the Bible to get/not get? I’ve got my eye on the Founder’s Bible at the moment. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I like reading the New King James version the best. NIV is easier to read but a little watered down.

You are likely to have a lot of questions. You may want to get a study Bible that has commentary in it. I thought that help when I was first started.

The most important thing imo is to study with a group of other men. Also, prayer and fasting really prepares your heart to hear from God more.
