I’m looking to buy a Bible because i’ve never read it cover to cover. I was raised in the faith, though i went astray for a long time; and it feels like something I absolutely need to do.
Christian pedes: any advice on what version of the Bible to get/not get? I’ve got my eye on the Founder’s Bible at the moment. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
They say the best version is the one you’ll actually read. You can find websites that take sample verses and show how they read in different translations. Take a look and see which translations resonate with you. Some translations are more formal and majestic sounding, some are more contemporary and conversational. Pick one that you can imagine reading every day for a year or more.
