I’m looking to buy a Bible because i’ve never read it cover to cover. I was raised in the faith, though i went astray for a long time; and it feels like something I absolutely need to do.

Christian pedes: any advice on what version of the Bible to get/not get? I’ve got my eye on the Founder’s Bible at the moment. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

King James version. New King James version. New International version. New Living Translation. That way if you run into something that seems confusing. You can cross reference, also get a full Concordance. Really helps a lot.

I also yave a NIV cultural backgrounds study bible. Gives anthropological and archaeological backgrounds for the many civilizations described in their timeframe
