It's unfortunate. I'm relatively new to religion in general. I can't find a sect that I think fits me. I want hardcore Christian values. I considered Catholicism, but honestly I can't get over the idol worship. If you care to expound on that, I'm open ears. Steve Bannon recommends conservatives flooding to Catholicism and turning it into a movement, and I think that's probably a good idea. But God comes before country or politics, so I can't just pretend to be a Catholic for the betterment of the country.
I have seen that there were some extremely based popes, like I believe Pope John Paul? So I won't shit on them altogether.
If you're interested, I recommend some Tom Woods podcasts. He is a devout Catholic and a libertarian and he has some podcast episodes about "the political pope". You might be interested.
I'll even link you the one I enjoyed to save you the time. Not trying to make a point either way here, just solely providing this for your listening pleasure. I thought it was interesting.
And by the way, I'm sorry your current pope is such a globalist puppet. Agree or disagree on the specifics, we all have to hope and pray. God is in charge, we both know that.
Yeah dude, totally because they're Catholics and not because, I don't know, they're Federalist Society swamp rats.
I consider myself neutral on the issue, but look at the current Pope. If there's an anti Christ today....
I'm Catholic and I don't disagree with you in the least
