I'm with you on this one. I'm getting really sick of assholes throwing out the doomer label on anyone who has a hopefully optimistic but also realistic opinion about the reality we face. We all know the fucking score here and we'd be fools to to charge forward on nothing but blind faith. We need to anticipate any eventuality and game plan on how to deal with it.
There has been moments that I have questioned us. We are the problem. We never held Trump's feet to the fire. We never demanded answers from him about Wray and Barr. We were always told to trust the plan. On this site we were always told to trust Trump unconditionally.
Us on the right side never had a place where we could hold Trumps feet to the fire. All we could do was lap him up.
Look, I love Trump, I thought he was our best last chance of preventing our descent into a shithole, but the buck stops with him.
I want to know what backroom deal he was forced into to nominate Wray. I want to know his reasoning and thinking and his options when he nominated Barr.
We were never given any of this information.
The fucking left is still out there burning cities and saying Fuck Biden. They are attacking him already and they hate him. They're going to get what they want, cause the Dems will capitulate.
We never had an outlet to make sure we were heard. We thought we had the election, LOL, Trump told is a year ago the election was going to be rigged. We trusted him to handle it.
I love Trump too but I think one of his biggest strengths of not being a DC swamp creature is also his biggest weakness. Although there have been some based Patriots serving under him, he also appointed too many traitors into key positions of his administration. Same thing with SCOTUS as we now found out and now that is coming back to bite him. I don't know if he was getting bad advice or just thought he could finesse the situation to his benefit... But you are right. Here we are.
If there was ever a time for Trump to go scorched Earth, I believe it is now.
I agree. I don't think Trump has been a bad actor, I still love the man. But you have someone like Romney or Obama coming into office, they already come in with 1000 swamp creatures as their disposal to appoint everywhere.
Trump came in with no one, he didn't know who he could trust and its because he was an outsider.
So what did we learn? Even if we get an outsider in there, they'll be powerless.
Trump needs to do everything in his power to release as much info that fucks our country's establish as much as possible over the next 6 weeks.
