Southerner born & bred with both sides of my family going back to the 1700's in Western N.C. (a direct descendant of Pres. James K. Polk). My families have served in every conflict since before the Revolution, My Grandfather is a Navy Retiree, my father an Air Force Retiree, and I'm a service-connected disabled Veteran of the Navy. We were sworn-in under the Stars & Stripes, and I hate to break it to you, but I truly believe the vast majority of veterans would oppose secession. Though, I totally feel your anger & disgust with the current state of affairs in this great nation..

I like Bongino's plan. Soft secession. Ignore federal law and other states when they refuse to abide by the Constitution or respect the wishes of other states. If they continue to pass orders by fiat or laws which violate the Constitution, flip them the bird and tell 'em to do something about it. Leave the ball in their court.
Don’t pay any federal taxes, get the entire state to do it.
Surround and block Federal Buildings.
Don’t allow commerce to and from states that refuse to participate (block highways and interstates).
Preemptively deploy the national guard with orders to disobey any order from the White House.
Create local militias to occupy strategic locations within a state.
Rig bridges and railroads to explode should the federal government attempt to invade (this was partly why the Confederacy lost [they didn’t commit to scorched earth warfare].

We don't genocide our political opponents. That's what monsters do. We defeat them. Most people in big cities are good, decent people. Who even knows who these people have been voting for? The Dems have been cheating for decades. We don't need to mass murder our fellow citizens. We need to drain the swamp and make our cities great again. Yes, they did. But, if you aren't paying attention to how they won, then you have missed my point. Our buisnesses are already suffering. The elite aren't getting poorer. They are already crippling our ecomomy over a pandemic. We don't own slaves, but at this point, it will be easier for elites to impact our supply chain and workforce with little effort.

The terrible reality is that coastal states can get delivery from china and other globalist states, and CA/NY can afford it. If we play by that sort of rule we'll essentially be surrounded by the enemy with only Texas to prop us up, and fuck that we'll take Trump and just have our own country.
This isn't "north vs south". Its basically the entire middle of the country vs the west coast and northeast. Except GA. Fuck that place.
It also doesn't have to be violent at all. They clearly don't want our way of life and we don't want theirs. Nobody is violating any human rights like the Democrats were doing back then, so there's no purpose in bloodshed. The state governments just need to band together and pool their own resources, including federal taxes.
What I wouldn't give for a peaceful secession. Indeed, we feel nothing but contempt for each other. I had used to believe it was wrong to bludgeon Antifa or BLM people if not in explicit defense of self or property. Now if someone told me there was a serial killer targeting them, I'd literally weep with joy.
Do you believe these people would allow pur country to exist, right next to them? They would allow that for a matter of months, maybe years, before they decide they want their slaves back and come for us. Secession is off the table, as is a peaceful resolution. They started this.
Sadly, I am inclined to agree. I would love a peaceful secession, but with the practicalities of globalism and needing to be acknowledged and do dealings with other nations, to have e monetary system, I doubt the logistics of separation could be as smooth as drawing a line and saying "commies to the left, patriots to the right, leave each other alone."

The Civil war wasn't over civil rights. It was because the South wanted to succeed from the Union.
It wasn't just about the South wanting to succeed. A large reason they wanted to succeed was over slavery and "muh state's rights". But that was one of the main "rights" being threatened.
To be fair it was a defacto right they had and the North (globalists) had it out for them. The 3/5ths compromise wasn't them giving blacks rights, it was them having voting supremacy over them.
