I actually agree. I have seen SCOTUS do this before. So it is "possible".
The more BS I see throughout these elections cycle the more I'm inclined to believe Ralph here. They may be playing a game but it's unnecessary at this point. Unless this is a setup for some endgame, but even that is doubtful at this point.
At this point, the only thing that makes sense right now is that extra-terrestrials came down and said "make trump lose or we blow up the planet...and don't tell anyone we threatened you or we also blow up the planet."
