As the Russian sub fired on Red October (with safeties off), the American sub blasted between them, pulled the torpedo away, then spectacularly breached, leaving the torpedo with no target until it found the Russian sub that launched it and destroyed it. That American sub was the Dallas. The Texas lawsuit just exposed the fact that the Supreme Court (Judiciary) will not interfere with elections (Executive) leaving the Executive basically 'weapons free'. The 2018 EO remains in play, and the VP role in refusing electors as well. Knowing the current State of the Union as Trump most certainly does, I hope and pray that the options remaining are used wisely and with great effect. Meanwhile, I expect the lesson has been learned that we continue to not pay attention at our own risk, and 2022 and 2024, regardless of how this current situation turns out, will require our immediate attention.
