Kav didn't surprise me. He was always slightly to the right of Roberts to begin with. He sides with the left A LOT and is easily swayed by public opinion. ACB on the other hand seemed like a hard core constitutionalist in her hearings and from what I have read on her past. There are only two ways I could see her fold. One is if her kids were threatened. The left made lots of comments about how she is the only one with school age children. Second, which I can't believe is that she was deep state all along(She was on Bush's legal team and has a close relationship with Roberts). Gorsuch also surprised me. He literally had an entire book called keeping the republic. He literally made comments saying precedents are important, public opinion shouldn't factor into making a decision, and constitution must be preserved.

No picks to the court would have reacted differently.

The people that are playing at this level of the game will protect the institutions at all costs, particularly when you are appointed for life.

Texas CLEARLY had standing. But if you aren't going to intervene, and you are the Supreme Court, then any excuse will do, since their decisions are absolute.

I have never felt confident about Kavanaugh the jury was out on ACB. They all all deep state. It’s a sick country we are living in.

And Gorsuch is also a huge dissapointment. Nothing like 4 Roberts on SC.
