Texas CLEARLY had standing. But if you aren't going to intervene, and you are the Supreme Court, then any excuse will do, since their decisions are absolute.
The Supreme Court does not like to weigh into political matters that it considers to be solvable through the political process......except, of course, when they CHOOSE to do so for the Swamp.......

Not sure how allowing Biden to pack the SC (to freakin 26!) is "protecting the institution" but ok.
