The reason why this is so big is that a large number of states joined Texas, and then the defendants had no strong defense. If the supreme court won't listen to that many states, and dismiss them along the lines saying the states are petty nothings, why wouldn't they give similar reasons to not hear Trump's case. The reason this is such a gloom and doom situation is that the courts have made their opinion clear, they don't care about a free election.
