The issue at hand was Florida's management of the election re: ballot counting and auditing - correct? Today's problem is that multiplied in magnitude. Was that suit brought by the state of Georgia (or any other state) v. Florida? No. Would not this action (with the same evidence as already set forth) be better styled as "Trump v. Biden"? Would standing therefore have precedent?

Your recollection is right, and Gorsuch recently cited that case because of the ruling that all ballots in a state had to be counted equally. PA was curing some ballots but not others and allowing late ballots in some places and not others, etc.
