The Texas case was not the only route available to Trump. The other cases are still making their way through the courts. Until those cases are adjudicated and Trump is either vindicated or defeated (in court since he won the presidential contest), we wait. We are exactly where we were before the Texas case was announced. As Hilldog commented, there is still the insurrection act and (if need be) for patriots to save the republic, the fourth box is still in reserve and must be the last resort.
