"Statement of Justice Alito, with whom Justice Thomas joins: In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction....I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue."
This is lawyer speak for "this comment is to say that we should hear the case based on the fact that we have original jurisdiction, i am not making any rulings on any of the merits of the case.
I think they just say that lawyer speak to save face, if they actually heard the case (which they were willing to do) they would probably vote in favor of all the voter fraud, just my 2 cents...
but granting of the relief is upfront, so basically what they are saying is that no relief will be granted BEFORE the case is heard and processed?

They said they would deny immediate relief, i.e. for Monday. According to them a case between states has to be heard - normally a case takes several months and there's no indication they would have speeded it up.

Church in itself is an institution. True belief is not. The sooner God fearing believers realize this the better. This was always my major gripe against Catholicism, it is heavily institutionalized, i.e. Papacy and the Vatican. The Vatican monetizes on selling belief of doctrine which they do not even adhere to. The Pope is only the mouthpiece. There is a reason their library is not open to all believers.

I interpret their remarks to mean they were willing to hear the Texas case, and then give cover for the state legislatures to nullify their election results. They did not get that opportunity yet. However, the state legislatures can still nullify their results regardless.

I think they wanted the case to originate with the president because he has standing I guess. The other states don’t. Seems pretty weak .
They didn't agree with the relief sought though, they just wanted to grant the motion or something. None of the judges felt that the court could settle this dispute.
