DO NOT go out in anything but a large group. If you're in DC alone, as a couple, or in a small group, or if you and your group are not capable of defending yourselves, please find a ground to join.
Make friends with people in MAGA gear at your hotel and stick with them on the way back from the rally. Safety in numbers. All the better if you can find some Proud Boys to join up with.
Lastly, remember this; Antifa and BLM will beat you within an inch of your life, and then proceed to kick the ever living shit out of you on the ground. They will give you brain damage, knock out your teeth, and cripple you all while the police watch, and they will feel good about it. Fight... back... Do not start anything, but it's past time to be passively civil.

This is also part of the hysteria around Rittenhouse. If he was actually out to kill people, he probably would have killed and maimed multiple dozens. As it stands he was not, but he was effective enough that they know what a bad actor with intent can do especially in the fog of chaos they intentionally create.

We tried to be nice thinking that common decency would prevail - we were wrong and paid the price.
We tried to put the trust in the law enforcement thinking that they were going to be fair, honest and even - we were wrong, and paid the price.
We tried to put the trust in the election officials thinking that they wouldn't go against the rules. - We were wrong, and look to have lost the country to China as the price.
We tried to keep the faith, and believe that the SCOTUS would still hold the US Constitution as the highest law of the land and enforce its rules - and yet again we have lost, paid the price and lost the country.
After all of that - I am not sure what any of us owe any of them. I am not sure what law we are required to follow, what kindness, what faith in our system we owe to anyone of these people that have so blatantly and brazenly abused it, us, and our future.
This has long been a major war - it is about time our side starts to act like it.
We kicked their asses in DC as well, but there weren't enough Proud Boys to protect everyone. They are cowards and ambush people that are alone, weak, or elderly.

Do we have anyone we trust checking the area for serious threats? (Explosives, traps, etc) if local police or FBI are in charge of securing the area, I’d be nervous.
