MODS STICKY THIS NOW

190
GlacialSpeed 190 points ago +190 / -0

Okay scotus, texas doesn't have standing so here are the states and people that do.

Now look at the evidence and tell us if we're going to war or if we need to keep going to work and paying taxes.

They should be more worried about appeasing the silent majority(no, not talking about all the dead people who voted Biden), because we are finally starting to find our voice,

It looks like SCOTUS decided to go the Pilates route. Wash their hands off one way or another and let the people sort this out. And we shall do just that.

Ohhhhh, Pontius Pilate. I was imagining women in yoga pants and I couldn't figure out how they would fix this.

SCOTUS did say all we needed was standing. Still, it seems like all the courts are too cowardly to even hear the case and let us present evidence. Good fucking luck, Sidney!! I pray for America.

63
danielh11 [S] 63 points ago +70 / -7

What if the strategy is so the liberals don’t think the SCOTUS is rigging it for Trump. Now they see that the SCOTUS is separate from Trump and if they overturn it with standing then there won’t be a civil war

78

Screw what people think. The law is the law and scotus needs to follow the law

SCOTUS did say all we needed was standing

Person A saying that element B was missing does not mean that B is ALL you need. It just means that B is needed, along with other unknowns.

Sorry but I like accuracy and this is a stretch.

14
MakeLiberalsCryAgain 14 points ago +14 / -0

Oh, I know it's a stretch. I see your point, and I could've worded this better. It seems the only reason for rejecting it was lack of standing (at least, that's the only reason they gave), so one would think if that issue were fixed, it would be accepted. Then again, they could cuck out and come up with another reason. We need a miracle. Actually, a handful of miracles, at this point.

7
EpstinDidntKilHimslf 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah, especially in Govt bureaucracy, you never know what else you need until you refile.

5
MrQuacker2020 5 points ago +6 / -1

You only have standing if you're a tranny or other like minded degenerate

2
Tazr671 2 points ago +2 / -0

No they didn't say "all we need" is standing. They said the States don't have standing and therefore they will not proceed further on a "shall have original jurisdiction" case.

1
MakeLiberalsCryAgain 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, we know they will not take a case without standing, so our other cases better have standing. Pretty straightforward. However, yeah, that still doesn't guarantee they'll take them. Seems like everyone is just trying to oust Trump no matter the cost. When even the SCOTUS is against him, where he appointed THREE "justices", well, it's ain't good.

62
ThisClaimIsDisputed 62 points ago +62 / -0

ok this is interesting because it contains the same legalese as SCOTUS

if plaintiffs with standing under Article III and judicially cognizable interest file the same sort of case with SCOTUS, they must rule

is she building a case of people who lost their vote due to mail in ballots going to the wrong people or something to that effect?

Except that for a state vs state matter it can only be settled in the Supreme Court.

3
lolpaladins 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nah... it can also be settled in 1865 fashion.

12
bewwwbbbskizzle 12 points ago +13 / -1

No it's like suing the guy who ran into your neighbor's car... your neighbor needs to sue, not you. Pretty basic common law doctrine.

15
msl0727 15 points ago +15 / -0

But their stance was, my voters were impacted by their illegal voting.

6
SheikFromMozambake 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yes, in the real world, the citizens of Texas were actually harmed by the fuckery of bad actors in the four defendant states. I suspect the SC didn't want to allow a precedent of states suing other states after federal elections and their no standing argument was the best they could come up with.

3
BeefChucker 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can tell that each of these court cases is going to be like it was when my NFL team lost.

The whole forum would collapse into despondency. Excuses. Name calling. Trade so and so.. Fire the coaches. Some posters would argue for tanking the season and getting a top draft pick. Some would argue about developing the end of bench talent. Coaching decisions would be second guessed, etc.

This is all part of the cycle of defeat. A day from now it will all be forgotten. The dooming will be converted to hope, and we'll all be pumped for the next "game".

PA scotus case was never thrown out. GA,MI and AZ,WI will file for scotus soon. these states will have standing b.c they are directly "injured" by the fraud. Their electoral rules were fraudulently changed, and their electoral vote was fraudulently taken. scotus say Texas has no standing because they are not the ones "injured". Those other states have standing. Let's fucking go

7
6ft7WeighsAnFingTon 7 points ago +8 / -1

All of what you say is true, thank goodness.

HOWEVER, the TX SCOTUS ruling is still an egregious problem that needs to be remedied.

Otherwise it sets the precedent that the law-abiding states have no redress against any states that break the law and steal a national election...

1
ThatOtherGuyBob 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even with "standing" who is to say that is enough? SCOTUS may well come up with another excuse to punt, again.

Activity on your link: all of those joinders, intervening and amici briefs attached to 220155 were rendered moot, I’m afraid. Parnell’s and Woods’ standalone cases at SC have not been ruled on yet, and there are some state level cases to watch.

Ah. But aren’t they appendages to the Texas case, not freestanding? Confusing... and I’m pretty good at internet but have trouble with the SC website search function.

2
MehNahMehNah 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm curious what real message SCOTUS is sending at this time... 'please don't pack the SC, we don't want to become irrelevant '?

Are they asking for more pressure? Are the newbs seeking acceptance from the mob?

1
Zeriel 1 point ago +1 / -0

But this doesnt matter at all if THEY DONT FOLLOW THE LAW OR THE CONSTITUTION.

At this point I think this is all a show to wake up people to the corruption. They have to know that communists dont care about following the law!

1

1
130EE 1 point ago +1 / -0

the thing is that in all these cases, there was no decision on the merits at the lower courts. They are going up as appeals of negative rulings on motions to dismiss (based largely on lack of standing, frivolous claims, no federal jurisdiction). Thus the only remedy SCOTUS could give would be to send it back to the district court to hear the case on the merits. Plus Sydney is taking the unusual step of skipping the Circuit Court of Appeals and going directly to SCOTUS, which she says can do but not sure about that.

1
Nomad1 1 point ago +1 / -0

SCOTUS will make up some other excuses. Legal bullshit is just that. Bullshit. None of it means anything.

1
ShitOfPeace 1 point ago +1 / -0

Do Pennsylvania too. They have the most electors out of the cheating states. They're a big deal.

1
Jadeity2 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought the USSC only had original jurisdiction if it was a lawsuit between states, otherwise it has to bubble its way up through the district and appellate courts?

1
Zeriel 1 point ago +1 / -0

We refuse to see the evidence!

What evidence? You didnt present any evidence!

You should have submited before it happened now its too late!

Oh wait youre submitting to soon there are no damages so theres no standing!

The constitution are just suggestions! Cheating is ok but only for the communists!

I think I learned how the law works on the NWO can I be a judge now?

So she has to win 3 out of 4 cases to give Trump the win. One of the 3 has to be Georgia too to win, if she won AZ,WI and MI it would be a tie at 269. Also, GA, WI and AZ would result in a tie.

It's positive news but a large hill to climb . I thought PA was Trumps from the start but I guess not.
