What if the strategy is so the liberals don’t think the SCOTUS is rigging it for Trump. Now they see that the SCOTUS is separate from Trump and if they overturn it with standing then there won’t be a civil war

It seems the only reason for rejecting it was lack of standing (at least, that's the only reason they gave), so one would think if that issue were fixed, it would be accepted. No they didn't say "all we need" is standing. They said the States don't have standing and therefore they will not proceed further on a "shall have original jurisdiction" case.
