I was city day of the attack... I witnessed it first-hand and then I spent two weeks working 16 hours a day cleaning up and I concur, it feels exactly the same.
It honestly broke my heart the same way seeing those towers fall did. It feels like our country died today. I’m hoping I’m wrong. I won’t give up until January 20th.
If I am picking up what you are putting down... I think tomorrow's rally is just that. Demoralize them by showing how easy we could occupy their own liberal shithole - DC - the massive numbers and the caliber of the people marching will be eye opening.
The movie Pearl Harbor went into this raid. The actual damage caused by our bombers was minimal. But the psychological effect was massive. The Japanese believed themselves to be untouchable. When we hit the heart of Tokyo (and other various cities), the citizens there suddenly knew they were vulnerable.
I’d love to find a nonviolent way to drive this message home to the people that need to hear it.
Back when I commuted I often thought how much terror the report of just one IED on the side of the highway would be. It wouldn't even have to be real, just some shit with wires sticking out. People would be jumping out of their skin at every piece of roadside trash after something like that.
Also, does anyone remember the shooting outside CIA headquarters back in 1993? Workers were gridlocked waiting to get in the gate and some guy just got out of his car and opened fire. That's another incident I thought about a lot when I commuted.
I love the adrenaline before a big fight. People need to learn to love that feeling and realize it’s a natural human reaction and use it to their advantage not let it use them.
I've been searching for the words to explain the feeling in my chest and gut. It is this, my fren. The Twin Towers. The look on people's faces. The real possibility of violent politics just beginning to glow on the horizon.
Interesting how the FBI allowed that attack to happen also.
That is because the same people behind that plot are back
Yup 2 decades later they want to finish off whatever rights Americans have left.

I'll never forget the smell either....

We CAN do this and we WILL.
It does feel like that. If Trump lost fine. But he didn't. The election was a fraud.
I’m not going to elaborate, but this topic reminded me of something.

I wonder if there is a non-violent modern day equivalent we could pull off?

Bingo - Fight Or Flight has kicked in. And it's not going to be flight.
FAFO
That's because the same people that let the twin towers just stole the fucking presidency from WE THE PEOPLE.
They want absolute control and Trump started saving us...and they can't have that.

In the Fight with you, brother !!!
Same. I feel so shat upon by the courts.
**Positive focus, please! **
You are a rock in the storm.
Let it wash over you.
Lean into the adversity.
Bend, don't break.
You must endure no matter what
until the storm is done.
Unbreakable resiliency. I do resiliency exercise everyday.
Visualization of standing on rock in the storm and holding my own, taking a beating, until the storm is done. Feel free to practice and share.
