Don’t ever forget that Lincoln lost many of his several political races. He served one term as a Rep in the Illinois legislature and one as an Illinois Congressman. He then won the Presidency. Losing many battles in the Civil War, he preserved the Union, freed the slaves, and strengthened America’s foundation.
American’s greatest leaders have a tendency to possess great determination, they face insurmountable odds, and suffer tremendous defeats. They have a tendency to prevail and earn victory.
And then descendants of those slaves voted for Biden at a rate of 90%, and some of them rigged the election in cities where they had a dominant control... thanks Lincoln. Lol. I don’t understand how people fail to logically connect the dots in the world they see.
The problem is that during Lincoln's time, we did not have a technocratic overclass with near insurmountable control of information, institutions, commerce and culture.
That all exists now and makes resistance almost futile. Regardless, we must resist it at every turn.
