You can’t really blame China that our system is broken that it’s so easy for them to exploit. The vast majority of Americans let it happen and let them get away with it for such a long time now, just look how much money China still makes by exploiting slave labor and unfair practices to sell “cheap shit” to the world (including US). If they wanted to, they could literally just admit in broad daylight that they have people in power here who pull most of the strings to control our country, and most Americans still wouldn’t even care unless their immediate quality of life was impacted. My point is the vast majority of Americans including many people here are to blame for our broken system. And only the vast majority of Americans can fix it if everyone comes together.

Yes I can. I can absolutely blame China for destroying our culture, our economy, our country, our children. I have no problem blaming China. I don't care if it's easy to exploit or not. We're not supposed to be hostile with eachother. And the US held that end of the bargain. China didn't. They betrayed our trust and goodwill. And that's all on them.

They have been doing that for a long long time. The vast majority of Americans have let it go on, and will continue to let it go on. Until everyone comes together, nothing will change. Even if we held China fully responsible and deleted China from existence, another powerful entity will take it’s place in the future. Our system is broken and we are all part of the problem, and until we address that and come together, nothing will ever truly change and we will be destined to repeat a cycle.

Its not the chinese that own the banks, corporations and the media companies. You want to blame the gun but not the hand holding it.

Agreed. Yes, the US fucked up by opening ourselves to being exploited, but as you said it was because of our goodwill. We underestimated just how shitty and underhanded China is.

Empathy is easily manipulated my friend. Everyone but everyone understands this and nott every culture views it as a virtue.

True, which sucks because empathy and love are the only way everyone will achieve universal peace and harmony.

It's a Christian virtue and I think integral to western culture. However, we must learn WISE empathy. It's one thing to feel empathy, even for vile criminals (which I do), but we must also be strong and know what needs to be done.
