Yes they can. If they pass a law they can just strike it down and all other branches have no recourse. Where do you think SCOTUS got all this power to begin with? Themselves.

That would require someone to sue the democratic party, make it through all the corrupt courts, then getting to the scotus and having them rule in agreement. After what we've seen the last 5 weeks, do you really think that will happen? When you have a corrupt system, the dominant class does whatever it wants. That's where we're at.
