I think it’s more accurate to say that they’re the party that’s willing to do anything for votes. They don’t really give a shit about what their position is and probably don’t believe any of it. All of them always flop around on opinions to whatever is the most advantageous one they are assigned, like with gay marriage.
I think the GOP is mostly bought out establishment too, but with the DNC, they’re far easier to buy by foreign interests. All they want is power and care about nothing else. They’ll jump through any hoop. The GOP at least gives the semblance of values and standards and argues according to them. The DNC is unbridled anger funded by special interest groups.
