you give us a single AG nominee with 51 votes in the senate. POTUS wanted to keep whitaker (who honestly wasn't that bad. he was a lot better than sessions and KFC barr) as acting AG indefinitely like he did with DHS for the past two years successfully but the whole senate said 'FUCK NO' to that plan. they don't allow temps and acting AGs and other DOJ officials to stay for more than 50 days or so.
