And thank God this is the case. War means killing someone. It means going out there and taking a life. Even if you’re right, and they’re wrong...even if they cheated and you know it...you have to exhaust every possible remedy before you’d be justified in war—including just being the bigger man and suffering an injustice for a time.

Children die in wars, innocent people. Young people who know nothing about it. Women. People’s livelihoods are destroyed. Property is lost.

The correct course of action, at this point, is patient endurance of injustice. Every leader who matters, from Jesus Christ to Thomas Jefferson, has taught this to be the correct first remedy. We are not anywhere close, in my view, to where we should be actually imagining ourselves killing each other over this.

History should change your mind. If you think that America has always been a perfectly law abiding and honest country and only last night something dramatically changed, I would humbly suggest that you read a little more. This isn’t the first, or even the worst, instance of fraud, theft, corruption, deflection, etc. we’ve faced. The world isn’t perfect and it’s not going to be perfect this side of the kingdom. I know this is not a popular opinion on here, but there really is a tomorrow.

And you’re the one to decide that? You must do what is right and discretion, as they say, is the better part of valor. If you haven’t picked up the gun and shot someone yet, then you realize that sometimes, the right thing to do is bear it.

I agree with you, but there are sure as shit a lot of people calling for killing their family members, neighbors, etc. pp. Its just a matter of time until one will actually do it. Then we will see if all the other loudmouths here will join in. I have a feeling that they won't and instead hell and brimstone will come on this board and whoever is operating it.

Those people need to look to Jesus as the example. And if they’re willing to throw out Jesus for their politics, their egos, or even their country, then they should examine exactly who and what it is that they really worship.

This goes for all of us.

We don't necessarily need to start killing each other. But we are way past the Ghandi/MLK approach. Armed protests will show we mean business along with resistance every step of the way of this "pandemic".

It’s one thing to say draw a line to protect yourself (like secession) and another to launch an offensive. This is why criticisms of the South are so misguided—it is the respectable and decent thing to do to simply say “I’m not going to be a part of this” and leave. If they try to force you to stay, nor you’re not murdering anyone, you’re simply defending yourself.

There is all the difference in the world between those two things.
