I'm not going to sugarcoat it, the first line is super concerning to me. Why would we need to 'find a new way to win the war' if we've had a long-term master plan from the get go? It seems to imply that we didn't have a plan and now a paths open up. I'll still fight til the end, but this is not the language I'd prefer to hear. (I'm not trying to doom, just mentally preparing for the worst)
