I read an interesting article... "Standing" was made up in the last 100 years... Basically as a way to not take cases that the courts didn't want to take a side in.

As not an Attorney, and furthest thing from it (PhD Stats), I feel like standing is a joke. I do not know as I said I am not an attorney, but to throw a case away like they did today when America is split 50/50 and none of the lower courts want to touch any of the cases brought, I feel like it does a great disservice to our country. Every case thus far has been dismissed due to standing. Ohh you sued before the election... No damages, dismissed standing... Ohh you sued after? nope shoulda brought this up before the election, dismissed standing.

Once again, I don't know but I feel like SCOTUS should have heard it as it involved 4 states acting unconstitutionally that affected an election for federal office.

That's my take.

Great link!

So standing is a weapon to use to .... deny a case the judge/panel doesn't want to take, or widened to accept a case they want to take (ie when the claimant is one they "favor")

Just do it. Republicans need this because I don't feel like staying in a losing party. I'm going wherever will fight with me.

You guys make Trump fight for you.

Antifa at least puts themselves on the line. It's why Trump's having such a hard time. You all are way too comfortable. i hope this lights a fire under your asses, if not you deserve to lose and Antifa deserves to win. They actually work for it.

Literally Antifa is achieving the merit-based "American Dream" more effectively than so called real Americans.

ANTIFA is taking big risks and working their asses off, getting mocked and ridiculed for it, yet coming out ahead. Just like any other successful American business. You guys are sitting on your asses and hoping your "King" will take care of it. Bunch of faggots must think you're in Britain again.

I don't agree and they way you present it seems to be the other way round. ANTIFA is a bunch of lost individuals behind masks that are exploited by a cult with clear organisation and tremendous funds. The real Americans are the ones who are working their asses off while getting mocked and ridiculed for it. We might not always come out ahead, but we will PREVAIL. In this day and age, managing to not be a loser, starting a family and being a decent parent to your kids while protecting them from destroying their own lives in this shitstorm is a mega achievement and what the USA is actually made of. Being pissed off about the traitors in our midst (RINOs) is one thing, but shitting on all other 'pedes for it isn't the way to react. Don't fall for the bait. User Thomas Paine says above that all law is made up. Yes, but when it's applied to YOU it's VERY REAL. So, it's one thing to be enraged at the injustice and another to get crazy about it. When we were bombed at Pearl Harbor, we didn't lose our shit and run in the streets wildly because a bunch of fanatics blindsided us. We STEELED UP and made them PAY THE PRICE by the time it all ended.

Mr. Paine makes a lot of sense. The problem is that the Left is organized (community organizers) and have started training their stooges (in our schools) for a couple generations. They have built up their infrastructure and have used it to strike us now. They have their minions in public office and in the courts. If we try to defend ourselves, the courts will convict US and not the people attacking us. Just look what happened to Kyle and others. Many people may intend to fight back, but would not tell people about it in a public forum. All I will say is that it is time to know who your friends and neighbors are.

We need the call from The Leader to start global, Pro-American uprising all across the world.

COME ON, TRUMP, JUST SAY IT !!!

Trudict 22 points ago +22 / -0

It is kind of weird actually.

I mean, if it's random joe schmo taking a case, obviously the SCOTUS cannot take every single one...

But how can you possibly deny case by 20 states... there's literally no other possible alternative for them to seek remedy, so what exactly are they telling Texas?

27
slaphappy2 27 points ago +27 / -0

SCOTUS is saying -

" fuck all this Constitution bullshit - we live in DC and we are scared of antifa if we displease them.

We have no fear of suburban patriots with all their guns and ammo that they will never use. "

They will think about 'standing' only twice once a couple cars burn in front of the court and bullets fly through the air. They decided for themselves & the easy way out. Only once they feel the violence that will change. Thats why BLM was eventually successful.

And thats why they left the merits in place. The did not rule on the merits just standing. That means if these state cases by Trump have their evidence filed they would hear them. Its not really over until January 6th.

Trump_2036 -14 points ago +3 / -17

You need to suffer an injury to seek a remedy. Texas had no injury.

Yup, there are many politicians today who need to suffer an injury. Good thinking patriot.

it is simply a legal name fraud American BAR(British Accreditation Registry) scam.

Persons lost at sea has no standing - ever. Act of 1666 (no coincidences).

2
mclsusan 2 points ago +2 / -0

Isn't that the Courts role? To take a stand based on evidence? I think they didn't do their job!
