Really good poem shared by Gail Combs over at Conservative Treehouse (before it was deplatformed by Big Tech)

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED PATRIOT

H/T Rudyard Kipling

β€œIt was not part of their blood, It came to them very late, With long arrears to make good, When the Patriots began to hate.

They were not easily moved, They were icy β€” willing to wait Till every count should be proved, Ere the Patriots began to hate.

Their voices were even and low. Their eyes were level and straight. There was neither sign nor show When the Patriots began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd. It was not taught by the state. No man spoke it aloud When the Patriots began to hate.

It was not suddently bred. It will not swiftly abate. Through the chilled years ahead, When Time shall count from the date That the Patriots began to hate.”

No it won't swiftly abate.

The left should truly fear the giant it is finally awakening.

Some people on here like to talk but don't you ever doubt that some people on here know exactly what it means to go to war and are willing to do it again.

There are fates worse than death friends.

There are fates worse than death friends.

This is exactly what I've been telling people.

I think it was Saxons originally though.

English.

Saxon was someone's repurposing for the Anglosphere.

"The Beginnings. A Diversity of Creatures" by Kipling.

Yes, you are correct. It was adapted, hence h/t (hat tip).

Change it back to "When the English began to hate" or even "When Americans began to hate" because it was about the blood of Englishmen raging against the atrocities of the Hun.
