Has to have a House on it that you live in no less then 8 months out of the year, can't just be empty vacant property.
Why isn't this open to abuse by rich people?
Because regardless of how much land you buy you still can only vote in 1 state, the state you spend no less then 8 months of the year living in, you still only get 1 vote.
Who can buy land?
ANYONE can buy property, you still have to be a Citizen to get a vote, so people from China can't buy a house here and get a vote or anything dumb like that. There are plenty of programs out there for people to get Mortgages, we got a Mortgage through Freedom Mortgage as part of a USDA loan. that was 0 down and the mortgage is cheaper then what the rent would be, so many people can get loans if they want them.
