After seeing the Supreme Court deny the Texas lawsuit, I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I know this isn’t the end of the line, but my mental state is not doing too well at the moment over this election. My backup plan has always been to move to Florida to escape tyranny at the federal level, but is it realistic to think that simply living in a conservative-ruled state would protect me from the awful communist agenda potentially coming? How much power do states have in comparison to the federal government exactly? Can DeSantis or whoever the state government is successfully refuse socialist healthcare mandates, indoctrination in schools, lockdowns, mandatory vaccines, etc in the state? And to what extent? Anyone who knows more about law than I do, feel free to chime in. I want to feel like I’ll be okay no matter what happens.

Honestly, not to beat you down, but if we don’t win then nowhere in the world is going to have the freedoms we have now.
Somebody with more insight will have to answer your question, but as a side note, my dad and friends live in Florida, and they said several areas are hotbeds of liberalism: Tallahassee, West palm beach, etc. just be careful where in Florida you go.
Florida is where we should all head!
Yes, the states control several of those things. Also the states can take the feds to court. Also considering we have states that are still promoting sanctuary cities refusing to comply with federal law. So we can just do the same...
I'm thinking I'll ring up Elon Musk and ask him for a lift off of Planet Clown World....:)
Thats if these states get to even keep their names...
Florida is racist so that will probably have to go ....
Then once we're all on that cunt AOCs list then what does it matter anyway?
So you'll be living in a state that will only be controlled by republicans for another 2 years before they curb stomp in mid terms with fraud again?
Game over bud , that's not doomer, it's the truth.. FIGHT PEDES FIGHT
