Comes with risk and many of us have comfortable lives regardless of what we see on the horizon. When rubber meets the road you have hard conversations with family, realize that you could be throwing everything away for nothing, standing by your principles in such a manner before the crowd is necessarily giving up your comfortable life on the spot while putting everyone you love through hell.
My children grow up without a father, my wife without a devoted husband, my friends, mentors, and family lose part of their legacy. This is an ultimate sacrifice so don’t treat it like we’re not overcoming every sense in the nature of creatures.
I will sacrifice more for my country and constitution but only when I’m convinced it’ll do some damn good.
