How exactly is it a bad precedent to permit a state to sue a state that violated the fucking constitution? They violated federal law in a federal election

No. You just said above the SC shouldn’t give the time of day to “states suing each other, they'd be flooded with thousands of new cases every presidential election.” Exactly how often do states violate the constitution, and why would that ever be OK?
