Hello Navigators. We are past civil war. I want to play a game. Are you nimble?

Allow me to introduce myself... I have been doing IT work for high security customers for 25 years. I am a military veteran. I have a family. I have a good life that I have built. I have much to lose — just like you.

I want to build a zero trust personal network for Trump supporters. Zero. Trust. I build zero trust computer networks for a living. I can volunteer my skills to the community in this way such that if the time comes, we will have a loyal standing militia.

Call it “well regulated Americans”. Call it a Christmas multi level virtual scavenger hunt. Call it the Alamo. Call it Revolution 2020. Call it PedeC2. Call it Time for a Crusade. Call it whatever you want. The -goal- is that by the end of a mutually secure, zero trust process, our families would be totally comfortable coming over and having a beer together while we polish our weapons and make all things ready.

I have a lot to lose and not much time... as in I’m busy making a living. So. If I build it, will you come? Will you put effort in to proving you have what it takes? Will you follow me through the door to wonderland? Upvote and share for affirmative and I’ll begin building the first level of the puzzle at 100 upvotes or PMs.

I will repost a time or two if I still need traction.

Obligatory... I have a great life. Young kids. Nuclear family. Long term stable marriage. Good income. I feel fine. I’m not sick. I will not be commiting arkancide any time soon that I know of.

Thanks future friends.

PedeC2

Agreed. Zero trust means you can trust that we can’t trust each other until we mutually authenticate. Heavy use of vpns and pki would be required. All instructions and diagrams would be made available at every step so that anyone that can reasonably use a computer can... Apply. Register. Authenticate. Be authorized, and have some level of access.

Once we had the first batch of people into a level it would get more trusted and faster to verify because more people could follow my instructions. Imagine onion routing for networks and people. Decentralized. I don’t want to be zuckerberg, I want to be torvalds.

The purpose is to have a zero trust mutually auth’d network of pedes that is more than just pictures and memes. I want to be able to get on zoom with people and show my face without fear of reprisal. I want to have a robust c2 network to pass along if a call goes out for militia. Does this exist anywhere? If so, sign me up, if not, I’ll build it myself. Tired of people like the restaurant lady screaming “why won’t someone do something?” This is what I can do to better a community. Just volunteering my time, knowledge and effort if it is wanted and desired.

I get the amount of mistrust here, I really do. I’m just tired of not doing anything about the current situation. How about contributing instead of immediate discounting. How would you suspect that I earn your <everyone’s> trust in order to not be “sus”. I still haven’t played among us, maybe that makes me more “sus”.

Was laying in bed thinking... might be the kind of folks I want first are up at night ;)

Yes will definitely repost during the day.

Proof of not being a honeypot should be easy enough I think, but will make sure to prove that out in the first layer or two.

You’d never know unless you played.

Don't build it.

You can't build anything over the internet unless you own the internet nowadays.

I recommend the tried and true method of: TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBOR.

Talking to your neighbor is great, I'm all for it. I'm also for building a secure network that runs on top of the internet. Thanks for your opinion though!

Just trying to augment the community... don’t you think more collaboration and more trusted and open collaboration is best? Advertising? Did I ask for money? I’m volunteering my time, experience and resources which are all valuable to me. Take it or leave it. Costs you nothing.
