This has nothing to do with high energy and trust in the resolve and abilities of Trump or of the merits of his case. It has to do with what is, at this point, a totally irrational trust in a system that has shown itself to be completely and utterly corrupt. America's government is totally partisan on the left and filled with non-ideological impotents on the right, while its courts are equally politicised, and in this case it's stacked against Trump. The reality of fraud and merits of the case for it do not matter when judges have the power to simply refuse to hear them and those judges are traitors in one form or another. SCOTUS just showed us that. Do you honestly think glorified Catholic soccer mom ACB believes the content of the Constitution is worth spilling blood over? And as to the political route, how is that going to work out when the majority of representatives are enemies of Trump or cowards or just don't care enough. Look at the public hearings.

Cynicism in this case isn't cowardice. It's the exact opposite. It's staring a grim reality in the face and figuring out how to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat or die trying. Instead of the political equivalent of fucking rainbows and unicorns.

And if rainbows and unicorns are true are you even willing to say your were wrong? Why would someone want to fight with you? If you were in a foxhole would you be the guy bitching about how the mission is suicide or would you think of other ways to win?

You keep coming with well written posts but not really responding to criticism. From everything else you’ve said this evening it seems like you’re reading a lot more into the SCOTUS decision to not hear the Texas case than should be read into it. You’re not engaging in conversation and instead just sowing FUD. You’re making as assertion that something is absolutely true when that is not in fact the case.

I swore an oath to the constitution. If there are paths to a resolution under that constitution I am in favor of following them. There are still paths to a resolution available. Quite a few actually. If SCOTUS doesn’t hear anything or rules against us in all the pending cases then POTUS has tools available with EO18 and Insurrection Act. Those tools are necessarily not as neat as a ruling by the judiciary would be. I don’t know if you live in the US or you’re a Brit, but I live in the US. I don’t want any Americans to die. I know some Americans will die, but I see fewer dying if we don’t burn the entire house down because it has an infestation.

EDIT: If you have a suggestion on the path forward of course share it. Seems like you may and that would be more productive.
