Following the precedent of Bush vs Gore, I believe all these cases would have a better standing/chance of being accepted and heard by SCOTUS if it were filed solely by Trump as “Trump vs (State’s Governor, SOS and/or AG)”. The reasoning is not to list or sue the entire state but go after specifically the heads of these states and show that they alone have unconstitutionally ignored the rights of the states legislature and the people of that state.
what will be the remedy now that electors will probably already have been locked in by the legislatures?
It’s seems like scotus doesn’t want to make the left upset so what will even be a reasonable remedy that can actually make a difference at this point?
1 . The first three cases from Sidney against MI, GA, and AZ are at SCOTUS, not docketed yet. Lin Wood case against GA is also at SCOTUS since 12/8 and got docketed yesterday, 12/11 with case number.
2. Next steps: docketing of Powell cases, and then decisions by SCOTUS if they take any cases up. In parallel probably other cases directly from the Trump legal team coming up to SCOTUS in the next few days.
Between now and 1/6 a lot can happen. 2018 EO report about foreign election interference to be issued latest 12/18 NID, this might demonstrate election interference by China, Iran, others, foreign companies from Canada, Venezuela, Spain, servers in Germany, developers in Serbia, etc. If this comes with evidence/proof that it was outcome determinative, new cases will make its way to SCOTUS and get decided.
But if it is made know that there was foreign interference, why in the world would we keep entertaining the validity of this election. It’s like if the whole internals of a computer had water damage. You wouldn’t try to salvage it at that point. If interference is made know to the public, either Trump should be the defacto winner or there should be a brand new presidential election.
SCOTUS can’t ignore all cases. They need to take up some of these outcome determinative cases on the actual merits. If not, there will be a civil war and Supreme Court packing IF the Democrats fraud prevails.
The precedent of the Texas case has set the tone. They refuse to mediate disputes between states. What makes you think they give a fuck about internal state affairs.
They need to defend the constitution. The way the election was performed at least in these 4 states did not follow the constitution. Yes, maybe TX didn’t have standing to complain, but We the People have.
the thing is that in all these cases, there was no decision on the merits. They are going up as appeals of negative rulings on motions to dismiss (based largely on lack of standing, frivolous claims, no federal jurisdiction). Thus the only remedy SCOTUS could give would be to send it back to the district court to hear the case on the merits. Plus Sydney is taking the unusual step of skipping the Circuit Court of Appeals and going directly to SCOTUS, which she says can do but not sure about that.
Cool story but does she having standing???
no it seams nobody has

Obviously not bro she’s fighting for the constitution /s
The court has decided that the argument is valid but big scary so the court will assemble a pillow fort and watch cartoons until you go away.
"Justice can't fight if it can't stand!"
"Sweep the leg, SCuckOTUS!"
Two questions:

They had standing. Get that through your head. They had standing.
The SC has sided against the constitution.
They did have standing.
Kraken 2.0?
