It's referring to lil Wayne refusing to say white people are in general racist or bigits.

they spent years trying to get him to join the BLM movement. He flat out refused multiple times saying a white man saved his life when he accidentally shot himself years ago. The black officers who arrived stepped over his body while the white officer rushed him to the ER. Check out the interviews, some interviews are edited to make him sound bad on youtube. Try to find the full interview. He leaves and tells them he's a musician and not a politician.

He also didn't go along with the george floyd hysteria, he asked people to look into more facts for the situation. He's very intelligent given his profession.

I also respect him for being an artist who presents himself AS an artist. He has opinions on things, but he's not interested in using his platform to promote them. This isn't allowed, of course, and he's only supposed to promote one kind of ideas. Very informative comment btw.

Alright thank you. Yeah I knew about his past but true I didn’t know he rejected BLM. That’s what’s up!!!!!!!!

Everyone acts outside of the law in some capacity, we have millions of pages of legal code. They just target someone, then pick the evidence they want to collect.

You mean to tell me that this high profile celebrity can't carry a gun on him? What!?! are they worried he might accidentally shoot himself?

Wait, I thought police are raciss and that's the only reason they arrest black people. Clearly Lil Wayne is the victim here.

He is if you believe the 2nd amendment is important

1
thingaboutarsenal 1 point ago +1 / -0

I believe the second amendment is important, but I have no problem with convicted felons losing that and other rights as a result of their poor decisions.

AnointedVisions 4 points ago +5 / -1

So you just disagree with the "shall not" part, basically

thingaboutarsenal 0 points ago +1 / -1

So you think kiddie porn felons shouldn't lose their 4th amendment rights and be free from being searched and tracked by their local police? After all, the 4th amendment says "shall not" as well and they've served their sentence?

1
AnointedVisions 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't recall saying that

1
thingaboutarsenal 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't recall saying I disagree with the "shall not" part either yet you said that about me.

No, just understand the 5th amendment

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation"

Felons are deprived of life, liberty or property because they've gone through due process of law and been found guilty.

Edit: but thanks for the purity test. It was fun.

They can be deprived of their property while they're incarcerated. If you serve your sentence, you should have 2A rights when you're free. It's a basic right to self defense.

Sorry the other people are downvoting you, that's not classy. Nor am I "testing your purity," I just personally take the 1st and 2nd A's absolutely, that's just me. I don't expect everyone to agree.

thingaboutarsenal 1 point ago +1 / -0

I disagree that it's absolute. While the founders absolutely wanted us to fight a tyrannical government and protect ourselves, they had no problem depriving people of their life, the ultimate God given right, after due process, why would they not also agree with depriving Lil Wayne of all people of the right to bear arms when he has proven to be irresponsible enough to commit a felony? It's not like he would be a general in the militia to fight the commies. You really believe the founders would be ok with violent felons carrying in public? Did they shrug at violet native tribes in the west and say "those weapons are their God given right? George Washington himself crushed the whiskey rebellion. The founders were not absolutists. Even Jefferson changed his ideas to compromise with the south.

Looking at Hillary's emails if you're not a CNN employee will get you thrown in the slammer for 20 years or so
