This. Will. Not. Be. Won. In. Any. Court. Period.

It will be won and lost be the resolve, tenacity, and the ability of good men to do bad things for a future generation or two of patriots.

Apparently docked just means it has been property filed with the court. After being docked they decide to take the case or not.

He’s just saying that he’s not talking about any other issue than whether or not to grant cert; on whether or not to hear the case. He & Thomas think they should, since the Constitution specifically gives SCOTUS original jurisdiction over a state suing another state.

It doesn’t seem like he’s dropping hints about what would’ve been more on point to get cert. He’s saying this should have been it.

I went the other way from what I read. It looks like to me the SCOTUS set it up as to take a standing case but they will not reverse anything. Just make a decision for future election safeguards. SCOTUS will not reverse anything.

Nah, no excuses for SCOTUS

They’ve done the wrong thing and ignored the law and facts

It's not clear to me what individual, group or state has legal standing to be heard by the supreme court. I don't talk in riddles. Who has legal standing?

Sure file with standing. Then it will be yeeted out because of the merits. Or should have filed it sooner. Or later. Or .......

Yes there is a legal path forward but I don't buy that nothing has changed since last week.

This is a huge development and does change the strategy of how the Trump legal team proceeds.

I think the Supreme Court did us a big favor. They saved a lot of time stalling and listening to both sides, etc. In the end they would have likely ruled that the certifications were invalid due to fraud, and then SENT IT BACK TO THE STATES to deal with. No big win there as the states in question just appoint electors (probably the same ones they certified). The fight is within the states, SCOTUS is a waste of precious time. It would be a vary bad thing for the SCOTUS to begin deciding federal elections. Leave it to the people, leave it to the states.

Weird ruling considering the size of it. But, possible a blessing in disguise. The fight will soon be in congress considering the magnitude of this issue.

We run out the clock first.

Then we fight.

Don’t jump the gun and waste time we still have to work the system.
