If it wasn't so God damn convenient, I wouldn't use it. But when you need that abstract thing for a certain project you're doing and you can't seem to find it at your local stores, Amazon ends up saving the day with free next day shipping with prime.
Only thing I hate, is that they've banned me from reviewing products, and I don't know why. I've emailed them a million times and it never goes anywhere.
I think it's just laziness on my part. I can get things like auto parts from alternatives like Summit among other places. Same with musical instruments - buy from Sweetwater or ProAudioStar or somewhere else from now on. I think I'd rather support a smaller business than the lumbering commie behemoth called Amazon. I'm just over all these giant tech companies right now, they're overtly communists. Also, I traded out Google Chrome for Safari. Was easy to import all my passwords and bookmarks. I represent around $6k/yr to Google in direct payments and that's gone now.
