I know there have been several posts in here criticizing how the lawyers are saying “overturn” the election. I agree - it’s a bad phrase. No judge wants to draw the ire of the left for “overturning” the election. In the coming days the legal strategy is not the only one that matters. Like it or not, court of public opinion is going to become a factor in this. The legal teams and pundits on our side need a new way of explaining this. I personally think the word “restore” is better a better choice than overturn.

They could say something like, “We are asking judges to do the right thing and restore integrity and lawfulness to a broken election so the valid winner, based on votes legally cast by registered voters, is sworn in in January 20th.”

Maybe there’s a better way than how I’m saying it. But we need to get the word up the chain to STOP USING OVERTURN!

STOP THE STEAL

I think stop the steal gets people’s attention. But when you’re asking for a remedy what does it mean? It leads you to overturn the election and it conjures a dirty third world country image in my mind. That’s why the remedy has to be asked in a positive way. Like it or not - judges are people too. They all have their own internal biases. The words we use can help or hurt.

I have changed my mind on this. i am not worried about how it sounds - I believe the democrats (and globalist - some of which are GOP) are using every means to take power and we do the same to keep it so that we can structurally fix some of this crap for the future of the American people and the Republic

I've been saying 'restore the true results' sounds better

Sounds good. Let’s make it a thing!

Show me where anyone is suggesting this, all I see is demands for higher courts to look into possible fraud.

Sidney Powell says it every time I hear her speak. Giuliani has said it. I’ve heard Maria Bartiromo say it. These are all people on our side. And I know countless others have too. We need them to help change the narrative, not be managed by it.

Words matter a lot more than many realize. It is no accident that the chicommie media immediately started to use "overturn the election", instead of a more neutral term like "challenging the election". The left have specialists dedicated only to finding the more convenient words to use.

Precisely my point! If words didn’t matter, we wouldn’t see posts all the time about how this site is increasing its rankings all the time. I’m not minimizing what’s happening, needs to happen, or the potentially bad outcomes. But it’s clear that every day more people are waking up. The right words can help us build a broader coalition. The wrong ones can turn people off just as quickly. We are not overturning an election. But we are restoring it or returning it to its rightful winner.
