Senate won’t confirm anyone they can’t control, for any position.

DefaultFreedom 112 points ago +114 / -2

He can appoint an interim without confirmation, and the clock is ticking...

Jcholl9 43 points ago +46 / -3

What Trump needs to do is an executive order to appoint Rudy as (AG) to act on this election fraud. And Barr can sit back and learn a thing or two?

no one's listening anymore, they all want him out and continue selling us out to commie fucks and China

He doesn't have the power to do that. He can appoint Rudy as a temp AG, but that's it - and Rudy would need months to figure out who in the DOJ he can trust. He'd be in the belly of the beast - they'd leak everything he's doing, warn people, and stab him right in the back. We have weeks, that's it.

Jcholl9 12 points ago +13 / -1

Yes temp (AG) that is what I'm talking about and he won't need months to figure out who he can trust if he uses his own team for say...

4
bitterbut_true 4 points ago +4 / -0

That should have been done a year ago...

Except since the mid term frauds Trump's presidency has been hanging by a thread...his survival depended on probably 14 senators. He didn't want to put his fate into their hands unnecessarily. If Trump had sacked Barr they would have had the first impeachment early 202-- for "obstruction of justice" and Bill Barr as star witness against Trump.

Yes, but he only needs to appoint Rudy G. to be a temp AG in order to have the AG file suit so that SCOTUS can hear the case in time to rule before January 20th. Read paragraphs 30-32 of "United States versus Throckmorton" decision on the Cornell University law library site https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/98/61

If he does a surprise, last minute switcheroo, and names Rudy G. as AG by Christmas, the 30 days from then covers up to Inauguration Day.

Trust no one, fire everyone. Let the chips fall where they may. At this point scorched earth is the only viable solution we have left.

No, we have hours. The Electoral College votes Monday. After that the President's political support will crater. The RINOS who have gritted their teeth and stayed in line will turn on him publicly. If he gives orders, they will be slow-played until Biden is inaugurated and then nullified. Come Monday, it's all over, unless POTUS or someone else does something about it.

AG Barr is beyond learning. He should be locked in a prison cell, cut off from people for the rest of his life so he can contemplate how he could have been a better American... and not just him but this should happen to several other people too, but that goes without saying...

forced to eat prison food

If a special prosecutor is appointed, does it continue into Biden adninistration?

Assuming he is successful in stealing the Election.

12
FireannDireach 12 points ago +12 / -0

A special prosecutor can be fired day one of a Biden presidency.

1
operation_eland 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe that is why they tried the impeachment thing - keep Rudy tied up with that so he couldn't be named AG.

Vivadiscordia 20 points ago +46 / -26

Ask yourself why none of the acting appointees stayed on. Matthew Whitaker as acting AG, Grenell as acting DNI, etc... Ask yourself why he didn’t simply appoint undoubtedly loyal individuals to all of these positions. Just think on it for a bit.

Why don't you just say what you are implying.

Thank you. Im so sick of people trying to talk in riddles. Say what you mean and save us all the time.

41
ErmaMaggard 41 points ago +41 / -0

I'd rather you just come out and say it because I have no idea what you're getting at.

43
isellmacs2 43 points ago +44 / -1

Reread his point before that comment. The corrupt senate, deep staters of both parties, won't confirm anybody they can't control.

That's literally the reason why he didn't appoint loyalists as permanent people: the senate refused to confirm them. So if he wants somebody appointed he has to be somebody the senate will confirm.

Just look at his 3 SCOTUS picks. All of them cucked out on the Texas case. His AG, CIA, FBI etc. picks all are deepstate cucks. It looked like maybe Barr wouldn't be, but at this point nobody had confidence in him at all. He's delivered nothing.

The problem ultimately is we have too many establishment republicans. The cheating just confirms the system is heavily rigged, and that means any republicans who want to keep their position need to kneel to the establishment or be prepared for an epic fight with those who do... and all the democrats, media, big tech etc.

There's not many that aren't deep state at this point.

3
MAGAChamp12 3 points ago +5 / -2

Lol there is no ‘appoint deep staters who sabotage my administration and agenda at every level of government to expose them as part of the master plan’ gig going on.

1
ATOZED 1 point ago +3 / -2

I don't think thats what vivadi was getting at...but I agree with you deep state exposee theory in that if you are wrong we are all fucked

Yeah, break it down for us dimwhits

14
MoldyLocksNesMonste 14 points ago +14 / -0

He can appoint anyone he wants.

Whoever he appoints has to have people beneath him that will take orders and carry them out.

That has not happened to date.

12
DonJr2024 12 points ago +14 / -2

Yeah it's become clear that government is useless at best. Elected officials no longer control any of these 3 letter agencies, military, IRS, etc.

Or have balls of steel and fire whoever refuses to take directive, even if it means destroying the organization,

3
iamherefortheluls 3 points ago +3 / -0

and who is going to follow that interim's orders when its swamps 30 people in every direction?

2
NostalgicFuturist 2 points ago +2 / -0

What has he got to lose at this point? He fired Esper. Now fire Barr, Wray, and Haspel. He has patriots to be interim, like Jscholl9 says, there's Giuliani, Grennell, Powell, Flynn, maybe even Matt Gaetz.

2
CyclopticErotica 2 points ago +2 / -0

Unless it's a chinese whore for swalwell.

2
philnmdg 2 points ago +2 / -0

Someone can be placed in an "Acting" role even if they're not confirmed...like Giuliani should be as replacement for Barr and Kerik for Wray.

2
AgnesDomini 2 points ago +2 / -0

Or Jay Sekulow...or, even better, Ted Cruz, just to spite the Dems. Both guys are strong constitutionalists, and both have argued successfully before SCOTUS in the past.

1
philnmdg 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes, good selections!
