You are not wrong. But Trump is in a position of power and authority at a very unique moment in our country's history. He will be judged on what he does in response to this attack and nothing else because nothing else he has accomplished is anywhere near as important. He and he alone can call on us and lead us. If he refuses to do so and surrenders the nation to corruption then he will be judged harshly by his countrymen and rightly so.
