I think (just my opinion) the US has fucked around with much of the world's governments elections and various black mail schemes that is why they don't want to declassify. "We would lose our moral and ethical high ground" I suppose is one way to put it. The world and the American people deserve to know the misdeeds of our government and what has been done in our name. The retaliation of other countries couldn't be so severe as to harm the every man, just the wealthy and elite. This is just my thoughts.
