This nullifies all of the states seeking to use the "popular vote". They can't use votes that they don't have standing to review. It prevents the popular vote from ever becoming an official tally with legal meaning.

Laws don’t matter anymore.

Whatever they just make it up as they go along. There was plenty of precedent in that case to review it, and they chose to punt. Why did we go through all that hassle and first round draft picks to draft punters? Rule of law is dead, do what you want. Monkey knife fights and cocaine for everyone!

I don't disagree. But let's say in the off chance Trump pulls this off and we want to return to a system of laws.

Unfortunately the damage is done. The only thing holding this place together is that most people have not come to the same conclusions we autistic weirdos have. Bottom line, if the legitimacy of the electoral process comes under question, the legitimacy of the people making laws is also in question. If the legitimacy of the people making the laws is in question, the laws that Congress inevitably shits out are also illegitimate. How long has it been going on? How many shitty laws have been put in place under the guise of a legitimately elected legislature?

Nah, I will abide by the constitution and it’s amendments. And the old John Wayne adage, I won’t be wronged I won’t be insulted and I won’t be laid a hand on. Anything else in my opinion is a usurpation and will be ignored

Honest the law is a joke. A veneer for power.

I disagree because they could have heard it to set that precident. If they hear another case on Monday and reference this dismissed one, then yes.
