What's needed is someone to identify that these bills exist, transparently explain the expenses, and then ask the user base to cover the cost of running the site. If the bills get too high, we'll want to know why, and the fate and direction of the site ultimately belong to us. We don't get bought out by ChiComs and turned into untermensch on our own turf.
