I have flown exactly once since 9/11, for medical reasons.
I decided after 9/11 that I had no wish to comply with TSA. So if I can't drive somewhere, I don't go there. While this may not be practical for a percentage of the population that must fly, it can work for far more people than the number who do it.
The airline is ridiculous in this case. I had 2 kids, getting a 2 year old to wear a mask would be damned near impossible if it even made sense, never mind when it makes no sense.
They really are. And that dad was holding a cover over the toddlers face to comply. It isn’t like he was arguing with the flight attendants or purposely attempting to not comply.
The airlines overreacted. And as soon as the plane takes off, people remove the mask to eat and drink anyway. This whole situation is just stupidity.
This has never been about science. It is social conformity and compliance. To soften the population.
