I don't mean every state here, just the ones whose legislatures support fair voting despite what some of their counties might believe.

Or, you know, anything. The Supreme Court's told us they're not going to interfere if someone outside the new union objects.

Federal standards for federal elections seems like a good enough starting point. More importantly, we need term limits on every gov office. Corruption at this level is only possible because polit8 are hanging out too long

  1. We could do term limits! Just bind the states not to put people on the ballot. The problem is the states who don't do it get seniority and end up in all the good committee positions. Personally I think the committee system needs fixing, but that may be out of our hands.

  2. I actually saw a post here the other day that said the real problem is open voting. Lobbyists don't bribe congresscritters to vote their way, they check the voter rolls and tip congresscritters who voted their way. However much you want to see how your congresscritters are voting, the lobbyists are going to be better than you at abusing the information. See link for statistics and supporting argument. https://thedonald.win/p/11QldFcrVy/as-i-see-arguments-for-blockchai/

Personally I have a fantasy of fostering a multi-party political system, but that has nothing to do with current events and you'd think it would have happened by now if it was going to happen.
