Considering that "Constitutionalists" (those who adhere to and belive in our foundational decrees) are deemed right wing extremists and enemys of the state, you are correct sir.
Let's not abandon all hope in SCOTUS yet. I was thinking the same thing but another pede turned me around. SCOTUS dismissing TX suit was correct, as much as we don't like it. They actually haven't suffered any harm at this point. The suit is all about the other four states disenfranchising the voters of TX. But that hasn't really happened.....yet. Once the Electors vote, then it happens and TX has standing. I expect that lawsuit will come back at that point and SCOTUS will then take it up, because at that point Texas can show that their citizen's votes were diluted and their voters were disenfranchised by the actions of those states, giving them the standing that they need. We can assume that every single one of Trumps' appointees turned their back on him after all the shit he went through to get them on the bench, or we can assume that they were sending him a signal. Having Thomas and Alito issue dissents while they dismissed on standing makes them look non-partisan, setting up the bomb that is to come. The left will assume that Trump has no chance in hell if even his appointees won't back him. It removes the argument from the Left that Trump's puppets merely did his bidding and installed him as a Thank you for putting them on the bench. I think they are trying to give legitimacy to ultimately overturning this thing. Texas simply brought their suit too early. Also ask yourself why did TX, who had to know they didn't have standing, bring the case when they did? Texas' case wasn't on anybody's radar. It just popped up out of the blue. I think we're watching a well choreographed dance right now and Lion Ted is busting moves behind the scenes that we can't see. Call me naïve, but I refuse to believe that this obvious farce of a win for Joe Biden will ultimately be allowed to stand. To do so means I've given up on everything that America stands for. This defeat certainly makes one question whether we've been sold nothing but an illusion that is America for all these years. But I refuse to give up on her until I see who is taking the Oath of Office on Jan. 20.
